The Canadian response to threats of a trade war by Donald Trump and the carve out he gave to Canadian energy, has put Alberta’s oilpatch in the spotlight.

Our oil, largely coming from Alberta, was given a smaller hit under Trump’s tariff plan, and while any escalation has been pushed back a month, the threat to the oilpatch is top of mind for many in the province
